When your out and about, especially on a road trip stuck in the car for hours on end, do you make up games? Well, on a recent trip to Los Angeles I met up with the girls for a spot of tea at the Huntington Library. Now if you’ve never been to the Huntington Library, located in Pasadena, you should go. It’s beautiful, relaxing, and seems to export you to a simpler time.
While we walked the grounds I challenged myself and the others to help me find the letters of the alphabet. By the end of the afternoon my mom was pointing out letters and my girlfriend was keeping track of the letters we were missing. It’s a funny game to play no matter who you’re with and it’s fun as a photographer because it keeps your creative eye alert.

Now as you can see from above, we didn’t find all the letters…D is missing. And N and O were one shot, F is on its side and H is hiding in the bench.
I love that as we were leaving, I was waiting for a few of the girls and sat on the ledge of a foundation. I peered into the basin and there was a cord twisted around and immediately I saw the letter R.
If you happen to find a letter D in your neighborhood, please post where to find it in the comments.
We should’ve done one of these shoots during our walk&talks! Although we were probably too busy talking! Great photos again, Shelly.
